NextWealth and the PFS’s latest Financial Advice Business Benchmarks (FABB) report shows the profession is all about growth in 2021, with optimism for a strong bounceback after the challenges of 2020.
The FABB 2021 report shows:
- Average portfolio size is up to £345,693 from £305,175 in 2020
- 65% of advisers have increased their number of clients (45% in 2020)
- 57% of financial advice businesses plan to recruit in the next 12 months (32% in 2020).
Heather Hopkins, managing director of NextWealth, said: “Demand for financial advice is strong and firms are responding to that growing demand. Our report paints a rosy picture for the profession as firms emerge from the pandemic with strong levels of optimism for the future.”
