The PFS’s Annual Conference and Personal Finance Awards will return in November and this year will be entirely digital.

In line with many organisations, the PFS is taking a blended approach to events, with a phased return to smaller face-to-face events later this year ahead of a full return in 2022.

Going digital allows us to bring all the familiar aspects of the PFS conference direct to members’ desks.

The key theme of the conference, taking place on 2 November, will be financial freedom, which will explore how to help clients regain control of their financial destiny after the shock of a global pandemic, plus protection advice will feature along with retirement planning and socially responsible investing.

Skills development will also be covered prominently, with practitioner sessions dedicated to the power of coaching and cashflow.

Speakers include award-winning broadcaster and adventurer Ben Fogle, as well as market commentator and 7IM co-founder Justin Urquhart-Stewart, who will conclude the conference with a ‘state of the nation’ summary of the personal finance landscape.

The conference, which is free for PFS members to attend, will be followed by the virtual Personal Finance Awards for 2021/2022.
