The PFS Paraplanner panel is looking forward to welcoming everyone to this year’s Purely Paraplanning Roadshows, almost three years since we last held them.

The PFS and the panel have been working hard to create some fantastic sessions for members, covering a broad range of subjects. The roadshows will also see the return of the popular Practitioner Panel Great Debate – made up of paraplanners from a range of backgrounds and companies. Not only that, but we are also visiting more regions this year as we have increased the number of events to seven, meaning we get to meet with more paraplanners than ever before.

These events will grow your knowledge, count towards your annual continuing professional development (CPD) and deliver on our pursuit of driving up professional standards across the paraplanning sector.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with both your peers and speakers throughout the day, and lunch will also be provided.

“Meeting in person provides the best opportunities to expand my network”

Built for you

I am personally looking forward to the events, not just for the fantastic CPD sessions, but also for the chance to meet, and share ideas and good practice, with other paraplanners. And remember, because the roadshows have been put together with ideas and feedback from the panel and the wider paraplanner community, we know that they will be focusing on topics paraplanners are interested in.

Lyndsey Fraser, senior paraplanner at Rathbones Group, says: “I am truly delighted that the PFS Purely Paraplanning Roadshows are back. They offer fantastic technical and topical content from a great line-up of speakers and there are different types of sessions running throughout the day to ensure that there is something valuable for every paraplanner.

“The roadshows also offer the opportunity for us all to start networking with our peers again and perhaps even catch up with some old colleagues and friends. Isn’t it truly great that live events are back again?”

Rebecca Tuck, financial planner at Paradigm Norton agrees: “Like a lot of people, it has been a long time since I attended a paraplanning event in person, so I am excited to see people face-to-face again.

“Meeting in person provides the best opportunities to expand my network, discuss and share how other people tackle different areas of the ‘day job’ and learn as much as possible to take away and implement in my own role.”

Martin Green, paraplanning manager at Fairstone Wealth Management, says: “I have always found there is something I can take from these events, whether it’s confidence in knowing I am on the right track with certain processes, further increased knowledge through topics presented by specialist speakers, or even sharing good practice with others.

“I have also found that you can get more out of the day by taking the time to meet other paraplanners during breakout sessions, building up a network of paraplanning friends who are willing to assist with questions you may have once you get back to the office or sometime in the future.”

The PFS looks forward to seeing you at our roadshows from June. To find out more and to book your place, visit: www.events.thepfs.org.
