Since measures were implemented to slow the spread of coronavirus in March 2020, more than 600 financial advisers have passed their Chartered Financial Planner exams.
The latest PFS graduating class, who took their examinations in July after April sittings were delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions in place at that time, included 250 new Fellowships.
Keith Richards, chief executive of the PFS, said: “I congratulate and applaud the graduating class of October 2020. These members have shown impressive commitment to continuing their professional development during these unprecedented and challenging times.
“The 2020 graduates have combined studying with making a positive difference to people’s lives and financial wellbeing at a time of great uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, creating greater demand for
professional advice.
“A dedicated graduation ceremony for the class of 2020 is being planned for late summer/autumn 2021 and I look forward to celebrating the hard work and achievement of these practitioners when it is safe to meet face-to-face once again.”
